Volatility in the stock market is decreased after the 2009 stock market crash. What is that mean for traders? Volatility is the lifeline for the traders because without volatility you don't have any risk and any reward. Risk and reward are the two sides of the same coin. If volatility has decreased the risk and reward also get decreased also returns after a certain time period gets to zero. 

Procedure to the volatile stocks for day trading in India

  1. Download the excel sheet from the link
  2. We update the sheet daily for nest day trading or you can make your own excel sheet
  3. To record the data by yourself
  4. Visit this link https://www.nseindia.com/products/content/all_daily_reports.htm
  5. There are two different columns daily reports and archives reports
  6. Use the daily report to update the last day volatility data of stock
  7. Use archives report to record the previous day's data
  8. Record at least 30-day data to find the relation between price and the volatility
  9. The average volatility indicates the average volatility of the last 30 trading days
  10. Standard deviation indicates the average increase in a decrease in volatility in las 30 days
  11. If the volatility of a stock is greater than the average volatility and the difference is greater than the standard deviation select the stock for next day trading 
  12. Backtest your strategies on the stock in a different time interval
  13. Plan your trade for the next day and then trade 
  14. If the volatility of a stock is lesser than the average volatility and the difference is smaller than the standard deviation select the stock for next day trading 
  15. If the volatility of a stock is greater than the average volatility but the difference is smaller than the standard deviation it is not qualified for next day trading
  16. Increase in volatility or decrease in volatility both are goods for trading 
  17. It suggests the reversal of trend or continuation of the trend for the stock
  18. Open the excel sheet 
  19. Use number filter greater than zero to shortlist the stocks 
  20. Price change of stock should not be more than 1-1.5 percent
