Index future Datapoints

  1. Retail Clients are net long  in index future with 33156 . This is total position at the starting of month
  2. FII index  positions are at -17725 contracts . FII added index short positions 
  3. DII is also long in index futures with -3440. 
  4. Pro are net short in index future with -11991. Added short positions
  5. Short positions are added in index futures by FII and Pro.
Index Call Datapoints
  1. On a net basis, retail client calls are bearish with  -15412 contracts.
  2. FII added call long positions 31730 contracts net long. 
  3. Pro is bearish as they had -16585 index calls short positions. 
Index put Datapoints
  1. The retail client has a total -45980 contract put short on a net basis. 
  2. DII has a total of 33670 contracts put long for hedging purposes. 
  3. FII has a total of 63232 contracts put long. They added put long positions 
  4. Pro today added put short -50922.  Added put short positions.

Stock Future Datapoints
  1. The retail client has a total of  192130 contracts long. 
  2. FII has a total of 529754 contracts long. 
  3. Pro has a total of 42536 contracts long.

  2. I need some clarity on 'Net trades Today' col of Index Put. Since client is bullish of 33749 on Long- Put and bearish 13559 on Put Short, the net position for today should be bullish view for OI of 20190 for Index Put today. pl clarify my confusion for Index Put.

    1. It is by mistake - Yes you are correct net put are sold so therefore it is a bullish sign
